How to Apply

Apply online through the Apply Online link during the campaign period.
Applications are also accepted at the Card Counter on the 7th Floor of Matsuya Ginza.

*Online applications are typically processed within 1–2 weeks.
*For in-store applications, bringing a valid photo ID (such as a driver's license or My Number Card) and your bank cash card will help ensure a smoother application process.
*Paper applications submitted in-store generally require 3–4 weeks for card issuance.
*Applications are subject to credit screening, and approval or processing time may vary.

Important Notes

Customers applying in-store will receive a Temporary Shopping Privilege Card.
If you apply online, please visit the Card Counter and present your application completion email.

*Payments may be made by cash, credit card, or QR code payment.
*Purchases made with the Temporary Shopping Privilege Card are not eligible for annual Matsuya Credit Card purchase totals or Global Points.
*Only one Temporary Shopping Privilege Card may be issued per customer. Lost cards will not be reissued, and the expiration date cannot be extended.

Global Points Award Schedule
The timing of the bonus Global Points depends on your application date.

①Applications:August 26 – October 31, 2026→ Points awarded: Late December 2026
Eligible for customers who become cardholders by November 30, 2026.
②Applications:November 1, 2026 – January 31, 2027→ Points awarded: Late March 2027
Eligible for customers who become cardholders by February 28, 2027.

*Nationwide Department Store Gift Certificates may be redeemed after the bonus points have been credited.
*Applications that cannot be completed by the required deadline due to incomplete documentation or other issues are not eligible.
*Customers who have canceled their Matsuya Credit Card or whose membership has been suspended or revoked at the time of point distribution are not eligible.

Shopping discounts offered through the Matsuya Credit Card and the Temporary Shopping Privilege Card exclude certain products and services, including food products (except eligible items), sale items, restaurants, books, repair services, shipping charges, and certain brands.

Beginning in March 2027, a new membership program will launch with benefits that also apply to food products and sale items. As a result, the current Shopping Discount Service will be discontinued.

*Customers who hold a Matsuya Credit Card can enjoy the new benefits by registering for the new membership program.
