"Shobikai" is a special twice-yearly event held for our cardholders to express our gratitude for your continued patronage with various forms of hospitality.

When shopping with a Matsuya Credit Card or Matsuya Gold Card on the day of Shobikai, eligible items receive a 10% special discount. Plus, you will earn Appreciation Points corresponding to your card’s discount rate at a later date!

How to Use Appreciation Points

How to Redeem Points
Points can be redeemed starting from 1 point (equivalent to 1 yen). When making a purchase, please inform the sales floor crew that you would like to use your Appreciation Points.

*Your card is required to redeem points.
*When redeeming Appreciation Points with a Matsuya Gold Card, checkout may take a little longer. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding in advance.
*matsuyaginza.com is excluded from Appreciation Point redemption. Points cannot be exchanged between Appreciation Points and matsuyaginza.com.

To redeem Appreciation Points, the barcode on the back of your card is required.

*Payment Methods Eligible with Appreciation Points: Matsuya Credit Card, Matsuya Gold Card / Cash / Third-party Credit Cards
*Note: Appreciation Points cannot be used in combination with the Matsuya Gold Card in the Food Hall (including restaurants and cafes) or at the 8th Floor Event Square. Please use cash or a third-party credit card for these transactions.
*Eligible Gift Certificates: Nationwide Department Store Gift Certificates, Department Store Gift Cards, and other vouchers designated by Matsuya.

Points Web Service

By registering for the Points Web Service, you can check your point information—including Appreciation Point balance and expiration date—anytime online.

Once registered, you will receive monthly email notifications with your point balance and expiration date. You will also receive newsletters packed with the latest news from Matsuya, including details on our twice-yearly Shobikai events.

Through the Points Web Service, you can view and update your contact preferences, email address, mailing address, and phone number.

Family cardholders are also eligible to register for the Points Web Service.
*Corporate cards are not eligible for the Points Web Service.

What Are Appreciation Points?Point Calculation
Points corresponding to your card's discount rate will be awarded per point, based on the pre-tax amount after the 10% special discount on eligible items.
*Points will be credited to each card (Primary and Family) based on its respective spending amount.
*Calculations are based on the card discount rate applicable on the day of Shobikai.

Based on your spending during Shobikai, points will be credited to your card around Tuesday, October 6, and a notification will be mailed to you.

How to Check Your Points
- Points Web Inquiry Service
Register your Matsuya Credit Card or Matsuya Gold Card online to check your point balance and expiration date on the website via smartphone, tablet, or PC.
*Your credit card and email address are required for registration.
*Corporate cards are not eligible for online registration.

- Receipt Verification (Upon Point Redemption):
When making a purchase using Appreciation Points, your point balance and expiration date will appear on your store receipt.
