Notice of Apology and Correction

There was an error in the description of the “Bonus Points” conditions in the direct mail for the “2026 Spring Shōbikai” delivered in mid-February. We sincerely apologize for the mistake and hereby provide the correction below.

Correct: Tax-excluded amount after the 10% discount

Shobikai

Shobikai is a special event held twice a year exclusively for card members, created to express our gratitude for your continued support and loyalty.

On the day of Shobikai, eligible purchases made with a Matsuya Credit Card or Matsuya Gold Card receive a 10% discount, and Thank-You Points based on your card’s benefit rate will be credited at a later date.

Use Thank-You Points

How to Use Thank-You Points
Thank-You Points can be used in increments of 1 point (equivalent to 1 yen). When making a purchase, please inform the sales staff that you would like to use your Thank-You Points.

*Your own card is required to use Thank-You Points.
*When using Thank-You Points with a Matsuya Gold Card, checkout may take additional time. Thank you for your understanding.
*Thank-You Points cannot be used on matsuyaginza.com, and cannot be exchanged with the online store.

To use Thank-You Points, the barcode on the back of your card is required.

Accepted Payment Methods: Matsuya Credit Card, Matsuya Gold Card / cash / other credit cards

*At food departments (including restaurants and cafés) and the 8th Floor Event Square, the Matsuya Gold Card cannot be used in combination with other payment methods. Please use cash or other credit cards. Gift certificates that can be used in combination:
*Nationwide Department Store Gift Certificates, Department Store Gift Cards, and other vouchers designated by Matsuya.

Point Web Service

By registering for the Point Web Service, you can check your Thank-You Point balance, expiration date, and other point details at any time via the website.
Once registered, you will receive a monthly email with information such as your point balance and expiration date. You will also receive a newsletter featuring seasonal Matsuya updates, including the Shobikai event held twice a year.
Through the Point Web Service, you can review and update your email address, mailing address, and phone number used to receive notifications from Matsuya.
Family card members can also register for the Point Web Service.
*Corporate cards are not eligible for this service.

Use the Point Web Service
To register for the Point Web Service, your own card and email address are required.
*For family card members, the primary cardholder’s registered phone number is required for web registration.

What Are Thank-You Points?

How Thank-You Points Are Calculated
Thank-You Points are awarded in 1-point increments based on the tax-excluded amount after the 10% discount, according to your card’s benefit rate.
*Points are credited separately to the primary card and family card, based on each card’s individual purchase amount.
*Points are calculated using the card benefit rate applied on the day of Shobikai.

Thank-You Points will be credited to your card around April 10, based on your total Shobikai purchases, and a notification will be sent by mail.

How to Check Your Thank-You Points
- Point Web Inquiry Service
By registering your Matsuya Credit Card or Matsuya Gold Card online, you can check your point balance and expiration date via the website using a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
*Registration requires your own card and email address.
*Corporate cards are not eligible for web registration.

- Via Purchase Receipt (when using Thank-You Points)
When you use Thank-You Points for a purchase, your point balance and expiration date will be printed on the receipt.
