Since its launch in 1956, the monthly picture book "Kodomo no Tomo" has brought rich imagination to children's hearts, and celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2026. To mark this milestone, a special exhibition will be held.

This exhibition features original artwork from numerous long-beloved picture books, as well as photo spots that make you feel like you've stepped right inside the stories.

Furthermore, it introduces a wide range of content up to the latest works showcasing the fresh sensibilities of "new creators" who will lead the future of picture books. It is a rare opportunity where the timeless charm of picture books meets new expressions shaping the future. Adults who were once children and children living today—let's look, play, read, and become friends.

At the merchandise corner, commemorative goods featuring exclusive artwork created for this exhibition will also be available for purchase.

About Free Admission

① Various Matsuya Cards / Physical Disability Certificate → Upon presenting various cards or certificate, you may enter at any time as soon as admission for guests with timed-entry tickets is completed. (Numbered tickets will be issued during peak hours.)
