『Kimono Salon』Editor-in-Chief, Ms. Chizuru Moriuchi – Talk Event
We are pleased to welcome Ms. Chizuru Moriuchi, Editor-in-Chief of きもの Salon. She will share behind-the-scenes stories from the photo shoots of 『きもの Salon』 Spring/Summer 2026 issue (Sekai Bunka Publishing), as well as tips on how to enjoy wearing kimono comfortably and coolly even during sweaty seasons. The talk is packed with content that will surely be useful for everyone’s “kimono life”!

Chizuru Moriuchi – Profile
Editor-in-Chief of Kimono Salon, a special selection of Kateigaho magazine. After graduating from university, she worked as an editor for beauty and fashion magazines, and in 2006 joined Sekai Bunka Publishing. She was part of the editorial team of Kateigaho, mainly responsible for jewelry, watches, fashion, and kimonos. Since 2021, she has also been serving as Editor-in-Chief of Kimono Salon concurrently with Kateigaho. Her hobbies include visiting saunas and exploring famous castles.
You Could Be on a Magazine Cover!? Kimono Photo Session by Kimono Salon
Date & Time: Saturday, March 14, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: 8th Floor Event Square, Special Booth
Images are planned to be adapted from the Kimono Market A3 flyer. If the images are not ready in time, they may be omitted. Come dressed in a kimono and, upon presenting a receipt showing purchases of 10,000 yen or more (tax included, combined receipts allowed) using any Matsuzakaya card at the venue, you can participate in a professional photo session. This time, enjoy a special shot with the cover of Kimono Salon as the background.
※ Limited to the first 30 participants. One pose per person.
※ Free Matsuzakaya Point Card membership (no admission or annual fee) is available at the venue.
