A full week showcasing carefully selected kimonos from all over Japan.
From formal wear and famous regional tsumugi to exquisite yuzen dyeing and artisan-made pieces, we present high-quality kimonos unique to Ginza.
You'll also find stylish washable kimonos, wool coats, and a wide array of eco-friendly reused kimono shops.
Don't miss the styling feature by kimono influencer Amano Satomi, as well as our photo event.
This year, we are also pleased to offer special events and items in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Matsuya Ginza’s founding. We warmly look forward to your visit.

① Kimono Photo Session
Date & Time: October 25 (Sat) and 26 (Sun)

/ Limited to the first 30 participants per day
/ One pose per person only
During the event period, customers who visit in kimono and present a receipt showing a purchase of ¥10,000 or more (tax included, combined total acceptable) made with any Matsuya card will receive a special gift.
A professional photographer will take your photo with a backdrop of the original Ginza store interior from its opening days. You will receive two types of prints in a mini photo album.
※ You may apply for a Matsuya Point Card (free membership and annual fee) at the venue on the day of the event.

② Reissue: Commemorative Postcard Gift from Matsuya Ginza’s Opening
To celebrate the opening of Matsuya Ginza, we have reissued four designs of the commemorative postcards originally published at the time.
The first 300 customers who make a purchase of ¥5,000 or more (tax included) at the venue will receive a complete set of all four postcards as a gift.

With the theme of "Taisho Romance and Showa Retro," twelve unique kimono stylings curated by Ms. Amano will be on display.

Watch the precise finishing process of traditional tabi socks.
Demonstration includes: folding, gusset insertion, pounding, and ironing.
