A Week to Enjoy Green Tea

This event has ended.

August 6 (Wed) – 12 (Tue), 2025

During the height of summer heat, we are pleased to present a selection of items featuring matcha—refreshing, delicately bitter, and aromatic—perfect for the season.

Exclusive collaboration items available only at Matsuya Ginza, featuring premium Nishio matcha from Housuien, a long-established tea purveyor.
Introducing exclusive items available only at Matsuya Ginza, made with generous amounts of Nishio usumatcha from Aichi Prefecture, carefully selected by Housuien, a renowned tea estate founded in 1887.

<KURAKICHI>
Matcha Dorayaki (1 piece) – ¥378

Handcrafted by skilled artisans, <KURAKICHI> is dedicated to creating confections using only carefully selected ingredients and refined techniques. This dorayaki features both the batter and filling made with matcha from Housuien.

<yamasan>
Matcha and Tropical Fruit Lassi (1 cup) – ¥891

A refreshing new-style lassi that perfectly balances the tropical sweetness of summer fruits and the gentle tartness of yogurt, harmonized with the refined aroma of matcha.

<Salad Deli Marugo>
Japanese Yogurt Supplement with White Peach and Matcha (1 piece) – ¥648

A sophisticated yogurt dessert where the natural sweetness of white peach meets the refined bitterness of Housuien matcha. Topped with brown rice flakes and cacao nibs for added texture and indulgence.

<Rich Potato Croquette Tokyo>
Matcha and Three-Cheese Terrine Style (1 piece) – ¥540

A savory terrine-style appetizer that blends the richness of cream cheese, Gorgonzola, and Camembert with premium matcha. Resembling a cheesecake, it makes a refined pairing with drinks.

<Ryokuken>
Grilled Eggplant with Matcha Dengaku Miso (1 piece) – ¥389

Tender, grilled seasonal eggplant is topped with a special dengaku miso made from white miso and matcha. The matcha is cultivated with care, grown under shade before harvest to suppress catechins and enhance the umami and sweetness of theanine. Enjoy the harmony of color, aroma, and flavor.

<Ginza Jukkoku>
Matcha Kombu with Salted Kelp (1 piece) – ¥324

An exquisite harmony of Japanese flavors created by the unexpected pairing of matcha and salted kombu. Hidden inside is flaked salmon, offering a rich and savory taste reminiscent of a luxurious ochazuke experience.
