Marimekko will open a special pop-up shop in Ginza where visitors can experience the essence of Japanese aesthetics. The collection features a new tableware series inspired by food cultures around the world and the tradition of sharing meals together, with selected items making their world debut at this event. The lineup also includes exclusive items available only at Matsuya Ginza. On the opening day, Marimekko Design Director Minna Kemell-Kutvonen is scheduled to make a special appearance. World-First / Japan-Exclusive Products

At this event, Marimekko will premiere worldwide a new tableware collection featuring forms that complement Japanese dining culture. Visitors will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase this collection ahead of its release in Japan and the rest of the world.

General release date: August 7 (Fri.) in Japan, August 10 (Mon.) outside Japan.

Among the items making their world premiere at the pop-up shop, one of the highlights is a new series of five bowls added to the dining collection. Featuring the Unikko motif, these new tableware pieces are perfect for a wide range of moments, from a morning matcha latte to a late-night bowl of miso soup.
The collection will also feature popular tableware items, including pitchers and playful mini plates that three-dimensionally express Maija Isola’s iconic Unikko and Kivet patterns.

Pre-Sale Item at Matsuya Ginza (Japan)

The new bag series “Utu bag” will be available for pre-sale at this event ahead of its launch at all stores in Japan. Combining generous storage capacity with a refined design, this bag offers both practicality and style. The shoulder strap can be adjusted to your preferred length by changing the position of the knot, allowing you to enjoy different looks depending on your styling and the occasion.

- Merchandise from this event will be available for cash-on-delivery phone orders with home delivery starting Monday, August 3, at 12:00 p.m.
- Order period: From 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4.

Admission During the Event
- To help reduce congestion and ensure visitor safety, numbered admission tickets will be distributed before the store opens on Wednesday, July 29, the first day of the event. After opening, customers with numbered tickets will be admitted in order.
- From Thursday, July 30, admission restrictions and the distribution of numbered tickets may also be implemented during busy periods.

Distribution of Numbered Admission Tickets (Wednesday, July 29)
Numbered admission tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Distribution Time: Wednesday, July 29, 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m
Distribution Location: Matsuya Ginza, 1F East Entrance (Parking Entrance)

*Reserving a place with personal belongings or having only one representative wait in line is not permitted before ticket distribution.
*Distribution will end once all tickets have been issued or at 10:45 a.m., whichever comes first.
*After 10:45 a.m., please proceed to Matsuya Club 1F after the store opens.
*Depending on congestion, additional numbered tickets may be distributed at the venue after opening. Please check the information posted at the venue entrance.

About the Numbered Admission Tickets
- One admission ticket will be issued per person.
- Each ticket admits one person only.
- Tickets cannot be collected on behalf of companions who are not present.
- Please note that the admission ticket is for entry only and does not guarantee product availability. We appreciate your understanding if items are sold out.

Purchasing with an Order Sheet
At this event, customers are asked to complete an order sheet themselves.

How to Purchase
① An order sheet will be provided upon entry to the venue.
② Fill in your LOOK Membership number (if applicable) and your name.
③ Check the product number displayed on each item and write the desired product number(s) and quantity on the order sheet.
④ Return the completed order sheet to a staff member.
⑤ When your order is ready, you will be called by the name written on your order sheet.
⑥ Collect your items and proceed to the cashier.

Additional Information
- Reservations and special orders are not available for event merchandise.
- Gift wrapping for event merchandise is not available at the venue.
- Some items are limited in quantity and may sell out.
- LOOK Membership points cannot be redeemed at the event. However, eligible points will be credited to your account within two weeks after purchase.
- Unless otherwise specified, there is no purchase limit on most items.
