Louis Vuitton Matsuya Ginza Store
Reopening on Saturday, June 21
On Friday, June 20, 2025, – The Louis Vuitton Matsuya Ginza store will celebrate its grand reopening on Saturday, June 21. Since its original opening in September 2000, the store has served as a key location for showcasing the Maison's world in the heart of Ginza. Now, it will be reborn as one of the largest Louis Vuitton stores in Japan, expanding across four floors.
In this renovation, the striking facade designed by Jun Aoki, which was introduced in 2013, continues to follow the previous design while becoming even more refined. The full-size facade covering the 8th floor of the Matsuya Ginza store expresses the iconic Damier pattern of Louis Vuitton with soft curves, in the "Soft Damier" design. At night, a warm gradient of light resembling the Monogram motif and the shine of mirrors will add a sparkling touch to the streets of Ginza.
The interior design is by Peter Marino, who has designed many of Louis Vuitton’s representative stores around the world. The first floor, full of natural light and openness, features the latest women's bags, small accessories, fragrances, and more. The second floor offers women's ready-to-wear and shoes. The third floor, now expanded, showcases the men's universe and travel section, with a more extensive range of products. In addition to a wide variety of men's items, the travel area, which expresses the essence of travel—the heart of the Maison—has also been redesigned.
The Louis Vuitton Matsuya Ginza store, where tradition and innovation come together, invites you to enjoy an even more enriched experience of the Maison’s world.
