A classic Bourgogne Chardonnay crafted by Cave de Lugny, a distinguished producer representing the Mâconnais region of southern Burgundy. Made with grapes from vineyards including the village of Chardonnay, considered the birthplace of the variety, and also incorporating high-quality hand harvested fruit. Fermentation and aging are carried out mainly in stainless steel tanks, with some oak barrels used to bring out a pure fruit profile while adding a gentle depth and complexity.
Fresh aromas of white flowers, citrus, and ripe apple are complemented by a subtle soft nuance from the oak. Bright fruit character and gentle acidity are in harmonious balance, resulting in a clean and approachable taste. A friendly bottle that pairs comfortably with everyday meals.
