100 Years of Matsuya Ginza:
Connected Memories, Continuing Futures
/){kind=small}
To honor a century of artistic engagement, Matsuya Ginza is pleased to present Connected Memories, Continuing Futures, a curated group exhibition bringing together 12 leading and emerging Japanese contemporary artists whose practices resonate with the anniversary theme 「つなぐ・つながる・つなげる」 (To connect, to be connected, to make connections).
Through newly commissioned works spanning painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass and photography, each artist explores the enduring power of connection — across generations, practices, and perspectives.
Thanks to a special virtual gallery, the exhibition extends beyond the physical space, connecting the artists’ stories and visions with audiences around the world.
From the last hundred years and into the next, Connected Memories, Continuing Futures looks not only to the past but boldly forward — toward new stories, shared futures, and the many ways we remain connected.
