[Base: Gin] While it has a hint of sweetness, this cocktail offers a crisp and clean dry gin taste, making it smooth yet refreshingly sharp. With a mellow finish, it’s neither too sweet nor too overpowering, striking a perfect balance. It gained international fame through Raymond Chandler’s novel *The Long Goodbye*. With both sour and sweet notes, it’s an excellent choice as a pre- or post-dinner drink.
About the Producer:
NIO Cocktails
NIO was founded in Italy in 2017 with the mission of sparking a cocktail revolution worldwide. Developed with the concept of “THE BEST COCKTAIL EXPERIENCE OUTSIDE OF A BAR,” NIO offers million-selling cocktails in innovative packaging, bringing the taste of world-class bartenders to any setting. The inspiration behind NIO’s creation came from founder Luca's spirit of hospitality. One evening, while hosting friends at home, he wanted to serve authentic cocktails in a simple, convenient way. This idea led him to collaborate with his close friend Alessandro. Together, they gained the support of Patrick Pistolesi, one of the world’s top bartenders, who shares a passion for bar culture and a commitment to sharing its joy. Through NIO, Patrick aims to make cocktails accessible and enjoyable to all. The name NIO stands for "Needs Ice Only," as every cocktail is designed to be enjoyed simply by adding ice. Just tear the top left corner, pour the inner pouch into a glass with ice, and enjoy a bar-quality cocktail experience wherever you are.
