For generations, 30 auspicious kimono patterns beloved in the ancient capital of Kyoto have been reimagined with a contemporary sensibility and crafted into compact, easy-to-use furoshiki wrapping cloths.
Inspired by a desire to pass on the spirit of Japanese aesthetics embodied in traditional kimono patterns—expressing gratitude for nature and wishes for the happiness of loved ones—to future generations, this project was made possible with the cooperation of Chiso Yuzen Factory.
The fabric is woven with care on shuttle looms in Senshu, Osaka, using an exclusive textile developed specifically for this collection.
The fabric becomes softer with use and is machine washable at home.
Enjoy it for yourself, as a thoughtful gift, or for a variety of occasions.
