Grand Seiko SLGA009 Evolution 9 Collection

The Evolution 9 Collection introduces a new design language rooted in the Grand Seiko Style, incorporating Japanese aesthetics such as the beauty of light and shadow and forms that allow light to flow gracefully.

The case, finished with distortion-free mirror polishing achieved through Zaratsu technique and delicate hairline brushing, emits a harmonious brilliance. The combination of grooved indexes, a bold and powerful hour hand, and a slender, elongated minute hand ensures exceptional legibility. A wide bracelet and a low center-of-gravity case design further enhance wearing comfort. Embracing this design language, the Evolution 9 Collection represents a new chapter for Grand Seiko with its dignified presence.

The SLGA009 is equipped with the latest Spring Drive movement, Caliber 9RA2.

With its twin-barrel construction, it operates for approximately 120 hours (5 days) when fully wound and achieves remarkable precision of ±10 seconds per month, exceptional for a mainspring-driven timepiece. The adoption of the Offset Magic Lever also contributes to a slimmer profile.
