The domaine was established in Morey-Saint-Denis by Jean Raffet, celebrated as “the finest producer of Clos de Bèze.” Today, the estate’s philosophy has been passed down to his granddaughter Marion, the third generation.

Some vines on the estate are over 100 years old. Although yields are lower, great importance is placed on cultivating grapes of exceptional quality. However, much of the fruit is still sold to négociants, meaning that only a very limited quantity is bottled under the domaine’s own label. Produced through traditional and natural winemaking, the wine expresses pure fruit imbued with the vitality of old vines, resulting in a remarkable Burgundy admired by wine lovers around the world.

Fresh and charming aromas reminiscent of wild strawberries and red currants rise from the glass. The 2023 vintage offers vibrant and lively fruit that spreads beautifully across the palate. The concentrated fruit character from old vines with an average age of 50–60 years (some exceeding 100 years) is gently embraced by finely integrated silky tannins and vibrant acidity, resulting in an exceptionally soft and beautifully balanced wine. Its pure and direct expression reveals bright elegance in youth, while further aging allows the deeper essence of its terroir to unfold.
