Joseph Biffar’s standard cuvée, crafted by Japanese brewer Fumiko Tokuoka in pursuit of harmony with washoku. Made with grapes from the estate vineyards in Wachenheim and Deidesheim in the Pfalz region, it brings out a balance of Riesling’s characteristic fruitiness and graceful acidity.
Fruit aromas reminiscent of white peach and apricot are layered with refreshing citrus notes and a soft mineral character. The palate is clean, with lively acidity beautifully framing the fruit, leading to a dry, crystalline finish. A crisp wine with a flavor profile that complements washoku.
