Season The 2015 winemaking season was marked by contrasting weather conditions. After a relatively mild winter, spring began with freezing temperatures, followed by a prolonged heatwave from mid-May to mid-August. Exceptional sunshine and drought caused water stress, leading to varied levels of ripeness across regions. August 2015 was the warmest since 1961, but rains at the end of the month helped resume the grape ripening process. Harvesting began on September 7 under clear, sunny skies, enabling an ideal three-week cycle that revealed exceptional richness without excess.

Aroma
The nose opens with roasted, toasty notes and cocoa powder. Then, the fragrance unfolds like a bouquet, with hints of linden leaves, jasmine, and finally, peony, accented by spices such as anise and cardamom. Green chlorophyll notes and the fresh fruitiness of orange peel and green papaya add softness to the overall impression.

Palate
On the palate, delicate yet rich flavors unfold fully. The mouthfeel is both gentle and stimulating, with a soft, caressing touch and an invigorating intensity. Fresh peach and nectarine flavors envelop hints of citrus and the slight bitterness of gentian (a plant in the gentian family).
